Hi my loves. Welcome to #TheRISINGWeekly show. Your weekly dose of all things RISING.
Every Thursday, I’ll be releasing an episode on the YouTube channel and on the website here.
We’re talking higher spiritual consciousness and human evolution into new global paradigms. Each week, we’ll be talking both on a high perspective collective level, as well as on an individual practical level.
I’m passionate about rising and bringing y’all with me. It’s my purpose work! And I’m here to support you in discovering your purpose – the unique role that only you can play in this new paradigm of consciousness.
Ok, let’s get started.
This week, we’re talking resourcefulness. Not a very fun word, I know. But I love redefining words that we’ve neglected or misinterpreted.
Usually when we think of resourcefulness, we think of scarcity. We think of not having enough and making do with what we can.
But what if resourcefulness truly was about seeing the abundance that already surrounds us? What if it was about having gratitude for what we already have?
We’re in a changing world. Especially right now. If you’re reading this when I published this post, you know that we’re currently in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many conveniences that we may have taken for granted are no longer available. We’ve been pushed out of our routines and habits. And we’re being forced to adapt in ways we never thought we would.
And this is probably not the last time we’ll be forced to adapt to significant change in our lives.
Over here in the RISING tribe, we’re passionate about cultivating leadership. Each and every one of us has the capability and capacity to be a leader. And the world needs more leaders. That’s where resourcefulness comes in.
Resourcefulness means knowing that you have the strength and capability within to figure it out. It means knowing your competence so deeply, that no matter what comes your way, you know you can absolutely handle it – even if imperfectly, you will survive. You may even thrive.
Right now, we’re seeing a lot of people adapt and evolve to this new reality. And let me explain why I believe this is very important.
It’s not just important because of where we are right now. I believe that the world we’re headed toward is going to continue to require more resourcefulness from all of us. This is a value we’re going to need to take with us into the future.
With more and more people waking up, and higher and higher visions of consciousness downloading down into us, the world is beginning to rearrange.
And when the collective rearranges, just like when the earth rearranges, it doesn’t do so quietly. And it doesn’t do so gently.
There will likely be many painful and beautiful instances of transformative rebirth. Which means we’ll have to get used to failure and things not going the way we expected them to.
We’re so afraid of failure, which makes us afraid of innovation. When all we value is the prevention of failure and the maintenance of the status quo, we lose out on innovative change.
Instead, what if we valued resourcefulness and efficiency? From the failure of trial and error comes expansion. And our world is gravely in need of efficient, innovative expansion.
Currently, our economy is lopsided, separated into bloat and scarcity. It’s not that there isn’t enough to go around, there’s more than enough to go around. But the wealth of the masses is being held and ‘protected’ by the few, who make exponential wealth simply by holding and gambling with the wealth of the masses.
And the masses are encouraged to do what they’re told, follow the paths outlined for them, and to not take on the responsibility required of leaders.
And what is wealth, but an illusionary representation of an energetic exchange? Of course it’s real, because we’ve made it real. But we’ve placed the emphasis on the representative wealth, rather than on the actual value of the energetic exchange.
As we’re beginning to see, that system is no longer sustainable. And although the collapse of that system is going to be painful, the systems that replace it will be beautifully, abundantly rich for everyone.
But that means we’re going to have to be okay with letting go. Letting go of our expectations, of our security blankets, of what we believe to be true. Letting go of the path we always believed we had so much control over.
Resourcefulness means adapting our expectations when the circumstances change, evolving with the higher consciousness of the new paradigms, and knowing that we will be okay even if we have to change our career or move in with our family or learn to do something we’ve never done before.
And I want you to be more than simply okay. I’m here to support you to step up into a leadership role to serve others in the same transition. To rise to meet your purpose, the unique role only you can play in this new world.
Because this new world needs more leaders, people who have unlearned all the crap that’s been dimming their authentic shine. People who have embraced their shadows, faced and walked with their fears, filled themselves up and over the brim with unconditional self-love, and extended grace to the whole f-ing world.
Let’s rise together my loves.
What will you do to be more resourceful today? How will you live when you run out of toilet paper? 😉 And how can you continue to live out these values even when the pandemic is over?
